- How do I know it won’t hurt my system? Eco-Plus has been tested by Intertek which concluded that no adverse effects were shown after the Eco-Plus was installed. Other problems can always occur with mechanical HVAC systems, but none that are caused by the Eco-Plus product. In fact, there are many other additives on the market such as stop leak or leak detecting additives among others. So, additives are commonly used in HVAC Industry. - Is an HVAC service technician required for installation? Yes. Eco-Plus is a simple installation but requires an EPA certified technician to install.
- How long does it take to install Eco-Plus AC? The Eco-Plus AC liquid solution is added through the low-pressure service port while your air conditioner is running and no service disruptions are necessary. The complete process usually takes 15-30 minutes for most Systems.
